SET YOUR YEAR UP TODAY TO MAKE 2021 THE BEST YET
- KEEP A BUDGET

Get your finances in check in the beginning of the year! Sit down as a family to create your yearly goals, what to expect financially and what is most important to your family. Work out a system so that you can keep track of your weekly expenses, monthly expenses, income and what you will be saving at the end of each month.
2. CREATE A HOUSE CLEANING PLAN

Create a weekly plan. Who does what, when laundry gets done, who does the dishes that week and who is responsible to pick up the house each morning. Post it on the fridge and keep everyone in your home accountable! Starting each day with a clean house leads to a much more productive day!
3. WEEKLY GROCERY SHOPPING

Get in the habit of shopping for groceries on a weekly basis and planning out meals for the week. Not only will this eliminate waste and create healthier eating habits. It will save time throughout the week and create a stress free environment when it comes to dinner time. Following your weekly grocery trips, make it a habit to clean and sanitize your refrigerator and throw out anything leftover from the week before!

4. USER FRIENDLY FILING
There is nothing worse than a pile of mail that continuously grows throughout the week. Create a system to store all the mail received throughout the week. Organize it so your bills and advertisements are separated so you know what is most important to get to first. Then dedicate a day or two a week to go through the mail for bills and other necessities.
5. DECLUTTER EACH ROOM
Begin the year by going room by room and decluttering each room individually. Donating and throwing stuff away that does serve a use in your home will make you feel lighter and have a more organized home space. Try to adopt the habit of going though each room throughout they year and decluttering whether its on a monthly or bi-monthly basis!
6. SCHEDULE MAINTENANCE JOBS

There is a number of regular maintenance jobs that must be completed throughout the year to keep your home moving as efficiently as possible. Rather than waiting until the week of your regularly scheduled maintenance jobs. Sit down sometime this month and make your calls now and keep it in your planner! This will alleviate lots of stress when your year picks up and gets busy!
